I had the privilege of working with Kiara Iman and Deja Green, who were students from Davidson Fine Arts High School, which is a Grammy award-winning magnet school in Augusta, GA. They were both a part of the final preview of Somewhere in Summerville at the Jabez Hardin Sanford Performing Arts Center in Evans, GA. Even though they were the youngest members of the cast, they exhibited the commitment and maturity of more seasoned professionals. Each of them had scene-stealing, crowd-pleasing moments and added a great deal of substance to the overall show. In addition to their ambitions as actors, both were also developing their musical talents and had formed a trio called Divine Intelligence . Along with their co-collaborator Hip Hop Artist: Jiggy Bril , they blended a unique combination of rap, spoken word, and song.
