Label 33 Paris Prepares for its Spring Launch with a Forthcoming Series of New Products and a Compelling Video Visual

Label 33 founder Darrius Mitchell talks with actress Kimberly Rich between takes.

Darrius Mitchell has spent the last few years perfecting the look and feel of his clothing company, Label 33 Paris. The urban luxury brand is built around movement, flexibility, and casual elegance. Darrius is moving quickly to launch the brand with its first series of custom denim jeans and activewear.

To communicate the visual values of his denim company, Darrius partnered with Atlanta-based filmmakers Anthony R. Page, Brian Wanjugu, and Patrick Foley.  The trio worked with Darrius to create a kaleidoscope of aesthetic, diversity, and visual tone.

Brian Wanjugu, a Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) senior, who is quickly establishing his signature as an up-and-coming auteur, served as the director of the commercial and worked with Patrick Foley as his director of photography. Patrick, another SCAD senior, is establishing himself as one of the most sought-after cinematographers in the indie world.

Anthony, and his team at Blue Bistro Creative, came in to produce the commercial helping to secure an eclectic mix of models, actors, and dancers as well as carefully curating a collection of locations and other resources.

Former Love and Hip co-star and singer Alexis "Lex" Branch
adds energy and impact to the commercial.

Page briefly discussed the project.

"Brian is brilliant and Patrick will soon be known for creating legendary visuals. We wanted to create the right environment for them to do their best work and serve the core values of the company. In that we succeeded, there were so many moments where we knew we hit the target."

"As to what the public will see...there will be some high impact moments from former VH1's Leave it to Stevie co-star and singer Alexis "Lex" Branch. There will also be several voyeuristic swatches from actress/model Nzinga Imani as well as a hyper montage of movement from Natassia and Karl Harris, a sibling hip hop dance duo. All in all, we are looking forward to seeing the company make an impact with this inaugural initiative."

The Label 33 Paris commercial is scheduled to premiere in early March of 2018.
