      • The is a TV pilot that examined the rapidly changing, ever-evolving music scene in Atlanta, GA. 
      • During the production of this show we filmed interviews with Speech from Arrested Development; rising R&B superstar Vedo; Rapper Shawty Lo and Shanell from Lil Wayne's record label: Young Money. 
  • Breaking the Silence of the Sonic Boom (2015)

      • Short documentary film centered on a culture of sexual abuse and apathy at TW Josey Comprehensive High School in Augusta, GA.
  • No Excuse for Sexual Abuse (2015)

      • Short documentary is centered on a community rally held by the I Breathe, I Rise Foundation. The organization led a protest against the NAACP's decision to hold a special election, which would allow an alleged sexual predator to be re-elected as president of its Augusta, GA chapter.
  • Cycles - I'm Still Here (2015)

      • TV series based on a novel by Dr. Marion Myers. The show is a character-driven drama with turmoil, redemption, hope, and a journey, although difficult, towards unconditional love.

    • This is a stage play about the many personality clashes, romances, and continuous controversies behind the scenes during the production of a stage play, which is often more entertaining than what audiences will see on the stage. A limited tour of this production is in development.
  • Crisis & Courage (2014 - Present)
    • Executive Producer / Director / Production Manager / Graphic Designer
    • Crisis and Courage chronicles Dr. La'Veda's Wallace-Page's struggle with Sickle Cell Anemia as a patient, a sister, and a mother and includes testimonies of the many men and women, she has interviewed, who struggle against the disease. 
    • With this production we have held performances in Atlanta, Baltimore & Augusta, GA, and made presentations for many national institutions including The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, The Georgia Sickle Cell Community Consortium, Augusta University's Women's Studies Department as well as the Sickle Cell Warriors Association of America
    • These efforts are ongoing. 

  • Urban Expressionism (2016)

    • The show was an exploration of Black Culture through live theater, spoken word poetry, photography, music as well as performance art. The show centers around "What we see," " What we hear," "What we feel," and "What we remember" as Black people living in America.

  • Double Lives (2016)
    • Director
    • Double Lives delivers a full dose of drama, sprinkled with the right amount of humor and a valuable lesson in the dynamics of forgiveness. Audiences may even question events in their own past as they see the Dickerson Family deal with difficult revelations about their lives. This play is the 8th stage play produced by I Heart Radio Personality Miss Monique LaShon & her company: Raisin' AJ Productions.

  • Shades of Love (2015)
    • Director
    • Shades of Love looks at the struggle for acceptance by an interracial couple as they attempt to win the approval of their families.  It's a story of hope, inspiration, and laughter. This play is the sixth stage play produced by I Heart Radio Personality Miss Monique LaShon & her company: Raisin' AJ Productions. 
    • This play included actor Tony Grant from Tyler Perry's hit TV series: Love Thy Neighbor. 
  • Unavailable (2014)
    • Director
    • Unavailable tells the story of three women who must overcome the love they once shared with their now “Unavailable” men. This is my first collaboration as a director with I Heart Radio Personality Miss Monique LaShon & her company: Raisin' AJ Productions. 
    • This production included R&B Singer: Terrell Carter and the talents of notable hip hop celebrities Benzino, Thi Thi, and Erica Pinkett from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. 
  • Augusta Comedy Hour (2010 - 2011)

    • This was a sketch comedy series we produced in Augusta, GA. 
  • The August Wilson Reader's Series (2004 - 2007)
    • Producer / Director / Actor
    • During my tenure at the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, I started the Heritage Theater. One of the projects we undertook, was to bring the entire August Wilson to play series to local audiences. From 2005 - to 2007, we completed 9 of the 10 plays in the series.
    • This series included notable Broadway performers Jerome Preston Bates (August Wilson's Seven Guitars), Russell Joel Brown (Disney's The Lion King), and D'Reginald Lewis (Suzi Lori-Parks' Top Dog, Underdog).
  • A Voice on the Winds of Change (2003 - 2004)
    • Writer / Director
    • This was my first feature-length stage play, which was a biographical piece on the life of legendary educator: Lucy Craft Laney, who lived from 1854 until 1933. 
    • This production also featured Russel Joel Brown.

SPECIAL EVENTS / ADVOCACY / ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Nina Simone Experience (2009 - 2010)
    • Project Manager / Marketing Communications / Business Development /Art Curator
    • This was a week-long tribute to Nina Simone that included a visual arts show with a collection valued at over $600,000. The show included renown visual artists: Cynthia St. James, Jonathan Green, Paul Goodnight as well as a painting by legendary actor: Billy Dee Williams, . 
    • The event also included a series of live performances from many of Atlanta's most notable spoken word artists, anchored by a performance from Nina Simone's daughter: Lisa Simone Kelly, who had previously played Aida on Broadway. 
  • James Brown Music Festival's Visual Soul (2005 - 2006)
    • Project Manager / Marketing Communications / Business Development / Art Curator
    • Visual Soul was part of the overall James Brown "Soul of America" Music Festival held in May 2006 in Augusta, GA. 
    • This was the only art exhibition in history that was dedicated to James Brown, during his lifetime. The exhibition included more than 100 visual artists from more than 50 cities across the world. During the festival, the show was displayed at various venues across the city. 
  • Writing Samples 
    • I have worked in a variety of capacities as a writer including business writing, press releases, editorials and interviews in addition to various creative writing and editing. 
    • In the past I have published work for periodicals including the Urban Pro Weekly and The Metro Spirit
