Director's Statement:

"Most people are natural-born storytellers, but most of us outgrow our imagination over time. The few of us who are able to hold onto our creativity are invaluable to the culture. We are the few who keep the world entertained and speak to the nature of humanity.

Over the years, I have studied film theory and technique. I have worked in various roles on a production set but found my calling as a director. Although I love writing, something magical happens when walking through a scene with an actor.

Production Assistant Jordan Campbell (l) and Writer/Director Tequoia Urbina

I am passionate about advocating for people of color and women in the industry and I live to see passionate people come together to combine their creativity. I want to amplify diversity and champion representation in the industry. While I see the industry shifting towards diversity, we still have a way to go. I believe that the only way to reach the level of success that I dream of is to learn as much as I can and appreciate the journey along the way."
