Armed & Dangerous Accepted in The LA Neo Noir, Novel, Film and Script Festival

Armed & Dangerous, a short film produced as a classic film noir, has been accepted in   The LA Neo Noir Novel, Film and Script Festival.  The film was written and directed by emerging auteur Brian Wanjugu , who wanted to pay homage to one of his favorite genres of film. The story is built around Detective Kama, a rookie police detective. And when Detective Kama makes a disturbing discovery about her new partner Detective Gitts, she is faced with a decision that could put her career and her life at risk. The film stars  Amber Tai Hemphill  (Detective Kama),  Anthony R. Page  (Detective Gitts) ,  and  Kiory Rivera  (Paul). The film co-stars  Kiara Iman  (Paul's Wife),  Jesse Bingham  (Paul's Brother-in-Law),  E. David Jones  (Officer Jones) ,  and  Devaunte Smith-Dempsey  (Detective Smith). The LA Neo Noir Novel, Film, and Script Festival  have been hailed by  L.A. The Blue Series - Exodus Comes to the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta

Blue Bistro Creative will host a special preview of Kiara Iman’s one-woman musical on June 9, 2018, at 11am at the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta, SC. The show, produced by Anthony R. Page is titled The Blue Series - Exodus  and has elements of a live concert and black box theater. This intimate experience will include a combination of song and soliloquy built around the emerging actress & singer’s individual journey of discovery, spiritual growth, and personal liberation.
