The Blue Series - Exodus Comes to the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta

Blue Bistro Creative will host a special preview of Kiara Iman’s one-woman musical on June 9, 2018, at 11am at the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta, SC.

The show, produced by Anthony R. Page is titled The Blue Series - Exodus and has elements of a live concert and black box theater. This intimate experience will include a combination of song and soliloquy built around the emerging actress & singer’s individual journey of discovery, spiritual growth, and personal liberation.

Kiara shared the inspiration behind her transformational creation, "As Moses was on the mountain receiving instruction, the people were waiting.  However, in their season of waiting, they turned to deficient sources of satisfaction, fulfillment, and worship.  How often do we do the same?  There's a promised land right in front of us, but we get weary in the desert.  I had to ask myself what am I turning to?  Once I found the answer, I decided that pursuing validation and emotional security from people would no longer be my Golden Calf.  I am sacrificing all idols -- even if that includes myself.  A life of true freedom comes at the death of me."

Kiara will be flanked by a musical trio that includes Benji Addison (Keys), Montrel Wingate (Bass), and Jeffery Darden (Drums/Percussion)

The Nancy Carson Library is located at 135 Edgefield Road, North Augusta, SC 29841
This event is free and open to the public.
