Anthony R. Page Directs Miss Monique's Lashon's New Play: Shades of Love.

Augusta, GA. Raisin' AJ Productions has selected Anthony R. Page to direct  Shades of Love , a new stage play written by Miss Monique LaShon , an on-air personality with Clear Channel's Power 107 in Augusta, GA. The dramatic play will debut at the historic  Imperial Theatre in Augusta, GA on November 15th at 7pm.  Shades of Love,  (the sixth stage play produced by the company), looks at the struggle for acceptance by an interracial couple as they attempt to win the approval of their families.  It's a story of hope, inspiration and laughter that will leave you on the edge of your seat. We have made a commitment as a family and as a company to be more vocal about the cause of Sickle Cell Disease which leads to Sickle Cell Anemia. We recently attended a national gathering of the Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc in Atlanta and were able to find support through other advocates across the United States and Canada. We are looking forward to discovering more opportunities to be engaged and consistent in our support. Crisis and Courage to Preview in Atlanta During 2014 Sickle Cell Community Gathering & Education Symposium

(New play offers patient perspective on Sickle Cell Anemia) Augusta / Atlanta, GA. Sickle Cell Anemia Advocate and Survivor: La'Veda Wallace-Page, D.Mus will present excerpts of her new play: Crisis and Courage on July 19th at 7:00 pm at the Doubletree Hotel (Buckhead). The play is a part of a series of activities presented by Sickle Cell Warriors, Inc. for their 2nd Annual Sickle Cell Community Gathering and Educational Symposium , which takes place from July 17th – 20th in Atlanta . Crisis and Courage chronicles La'Veda's struggle with Sickle Cell Anemia as a patient, a sister, and a mother and includes testimonies of the many men and women, she has interviewed, who struggle against the disease. Augusta, GA. Anthony R. Page has signed on to direct Miss Monique Lashon's most successful stage-play: Unavailable . The comedic drama, produced by her company Raisin AJ Productions , will return to the Imperial Theatre on May 31 st at 7pm. Unavailable tells the story of Whitney, Jasmine, and Angela - - all three women must overcome the love they once shared with their now “Unavailable” men. The show stars  Olaundra Grace, Whitney Shauntel Odom , and  Rashonda Martin-Butler. Page says  this production is precedent-setting for Augusta. The quality of the writing has been an excellent creative catalyst for high-level performances. - - It's on the page, which makes it much easier to leave it on the stage. It's a director's dream to work with a script this good and actors who can rise to the level of the story. 2014 Professional Activity (Snapshot and Highlights) Film and Television: Illishe McMahan is an educator living in Aiken, SC America Unfiltered - - (Documentary Series in Post-Production) America is changing and as one of the subjects included in our documentary declared, "We are at a tipping point." So we set out to examine, in some detail, how Americans view our country's artists at its crossroads. We have interviewed a variety of people, who are on the ground and in the fray of American life. Wanda Dansereau is a visual artist living in Belvedere, SC It's a democratic project in many ways. The people in the documentary are married, single, Republican and Democrat. Some follow formal religious practices, while others do not. They range in age from 14 years old to 75.  There is also variety in ethnicity including Latino, Black, White and Asian.
