Anthony R. Page is Unavailable - - Indie director signs on to direct the hit stage-play written by Miss Monique Lashon

Augusta, GA. Anthony R. Page has signed on to direct Miss Monique Lashon's most successful stage-play: Unavailable. The comedic drama, produced by her company Raisin AJ Productions, will return to the Imperial Theatre on May 31st at 7pm.

Unavailable tells the story of Whitney, Jasmine, and Angela - - all three women must overcome the love they once shared with their now “Unavailable” men. The show stars Olaundra Grace, Whitney Shauntel Odom, and Rashonda Martin-Butler.

Page says this production is precedent-setting for Augusta. The quality of the writing has been an excellent creative catalyst for high-level performances. - - It's on the page, which makes it much easier to leave it on the stage. It's a director's dream to work with a script this good and actors who can rise to the level of the story.

Co-stars include Halbert Richardson, Torrence Alexander White, Curtis Briscoe, and Nikkolette Amani. There will also be special guest appearances by Benzino, Althea “Thi Thi” Heart, and Erica Pinkett from the hit reality series, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

Other notable appearances include the very funny Jay Jeffries, weatherman for NBC 26 Augusta and heartthrob Terrell Carter from the upcoming movie Think Like a Man Too and Tyler Perry's hit film: Diary of a Mad Black Woman.

And the momentum continues, I see each actor digging deeper to bring forth the nuances of the story and polish their performances, I am very excited about this show. Overall, with this production, Augusta, GA is arriving and Miss Monique, who is also the Executive Producer, is leading the charge - - Anthony R Page.
