Civil City Live Presents 2 of Anthony R Page's Stage Plays in a Unique Entertainment Experience

Kenyatta Johnson through his venture Civil City Live and Anthony R Page , CEO and artistic director of Blue Bistro Creative have come together to collaborate on an industry showcase titled THE TALENT . The Talent is a platform of artistic expression for Atlanta’s best and brightest actors, writers, and directors. The show plan to deliver an exciting evening of laughs, drama, and surprises through a combination of stage plays, improv, and sketch comedy along with special musical performances to wrap up the evening's entertainment. The event allows local actors and writers to display their talent in front of audiences that may not be familiar with their work. The showcase presents fresh new talent for both industry professionals and nonindustry patrons. This is a show that has a little something for everyone... The Film Body and Son Hits Milestone with a Series of New Festival Screenings

The short film, Inspired by the Theme of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome Has Been Accepted in several Festivals for 2020. Body and Son , a short film written and directed by Atlanta-based filmmaker Chris Anthony Hamilton , has been accepted into the Hayti Heritage Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina (taking place February 13-15, 2020) and at the Las Cruces International Film Festival which takes place in Las Cruces, New Mexico on March 4-8. 2020. The story centers around DeShawn, a 9-year-old boy who lives with his single mother. He comes across the dead body of a man he believes to be his absentee father. He confides in it about being bullied at school until his real father unexpectedly returns causing DeShawn to react in the only way he knows how. The film stars  De’Jon Watts ,  Teea Loreal , and  Keith Douglas  who all give powerful, emotionally impactful, layered performances. Hamilton offered additional context about the film. Delving into and pursuing your ambitions to break into the entertainment industry can be a very daunting task in all aspects, especially if you have little or no experience of the ups and downs and a general understanding of the business. So, in 2018, the husband and wife team, Audrey Beharie-McGee and Brian, without any financial assistance whatsoever, but just putting their minds, prayers, and own personal resources into action,  decided to pool together their collective 35 years plus experience working within the myriad fields of the entertainment industry to launch The Atlanta Creators.
