Thea Casey's Faith-based TV Series Debuts April 1st on Sony's Pureflix Streaming Platform
The Christians, Half-Hour Drama Explores Faith and Family

(Atlanta, GA) Writer / Showrunner Thea Casey (Thea Casey Media, LLC) has inked a deal to stream her original TV series "The Christians" on Pure Flix.
The SONY-owned streaming platform airs exclusive family-oriented programming, and was a good fit for Casey's faith-based series.

In the 5-episode season, sixteen-year-old Harper Marie Christian’s deepest desire is to have her dysfunctional family worship God, not realizing the secret she’s hiding is the answer to her prayers.
The half-hour drama is led by a strong ensemble of up-and-coming Atlanta-based talent including Allie L. Harris, Kenisha Johnson, Topher Fredd, Anthony R. Page, Cheryl Frazier, Michelle L. Lamb, and Dexter Matthews.

Mathis, through his company Laconic Productions, would later serve as director for the series with support from a strong production team that included Alisha Dominique, who also directed some of the episodes.

"I write to inspire women to be empowered by realizing their own strength," Casey shared. Her creative journey began as a novelist and she has 2 works published through Xulon Press. 'The Christians' is her debut adaptation.
Season 1 of "The Christians" will begin airing on April 1.

Casey and her team have recently completed principal photography on Season 2 and have a 3rd season in development.
