Largo.ai to Showcase Cutting-Edge Film Intelligence with Alma Film Festival’s Dandelion Institute Fellows

A first-look experience for emerging filmmakers from the Global South

The Alma Film Festival today announced a special Largo.ai technology showcase with the Dandelion Institute Film & Television Fellowship, offering fellows an exclusive, hands-on look at advanced tools for story, audience, and market insights. This curated session is designed to help next-generation filmmakers accelerate development decisions, strengthen pitches, and sharpen green-light strategies.

“Alma’s mission is to connect creative brilliance with the tools that move ideas into the world,” said Anthony R. Page, Festival Director & Managing Producer, Alma Film Festival. “Giving our fellows a direct window into Largo.ai’s capabilities aligns with our Six Pillars of Purpose — Conversation, Connection, Community, Collaboration, Cultural Diplomacy, and Collective Growth — and reinforces the festival’s innovation track.”

The Dandelion cohort — featuring filmmakers from Fiji, Jamaica, South Africa, Honduras, Lesotho, and the Solomon Islands — will explore how AI-driven insights can inform script development, forecast audience engagement, and support data-grounded distribution plans. The session will include guided examples and Q&A tailored to the fellows’ in-progress projects.

This experience is part of the Alma Film Festival’s Ent–Tech vertical, which highlights future-facing tools that support filmmakers across development, finance, production, and distribution.
