About the Film:
In the film, Ladybug's identity begins to deteriorate due to early-onset Alzheimer's Disease; which has a profound effect on the middle-aged artist's life with her family.

The film stars Meki Mac, Wes Lee, Amber Reign, and Semaj Cottle; supported by a strong ensemble cast that includes Kenisha Johnson, Tarik Garrett, Amy Christine, and Kimberly Raven. Niya Davis, Angel L. Henderson, Nathan Rothwell, and Tisa Key round out the cast.

This dramatic short is written and directed by Anthony R. Page and co-produced by Alahna Lark through Lark Media. Alahna's most recent project is an Emmy-nominated, three-time Telly Award-winning short film titled: "Made In America.

Director's Statement:
"Historically, we have not had as much control over our narrative, leading to global perceptions that have been inaccurate, inauthentic, and incomplete. Now that the barriers to telling stories via film & television have become much easier to surmount, we are in the midst of a rich renaissance of story-telling, representing more of the full scope and scale of who we are. Even though we are making great strides, we still have many generations of stories that we know can inspire, encourage, and shift perceptions about Black people and our exchange with humanity.”
