Throughout this collection of works, audiences will be elevated, and enlightened offered opportunities to evaluate or escape into various worlds, from various points of view. Each of these playwrights has its own style and unique approach to telling stories. The productions range from the Chicago-born conscious commentary of Durrell Daniels in When The Cats Come to the Bahamian back-country boisterousness of Keturah Miller in The Curse.
Kiara Iman offers aspirational and unexpected interludes with her Mid-western manifesto of musical prose in Exodus while Oklahoma-born Mia Walters gives audiences an unfiltered review of reality built around the story of Tulsa's Black Wall Street in Deep Greenwood.
Anthony R. Page rounds out this eclectic collection with his most popular one-act The Commitment, which carefully careens through a married couple's cascading conversation over dinner.
