The Alma Experience: C-Suite Women’s Salon

An Invite-Only, Intentionally Curated Experience

Some films don’t just tell stories—they open doors to deeper understanding.

On May 30th, a carefully curated group of women will gather in Atlanta for an intimate salon anchored by a screening of Je Suis Noires (Becoming a Black Woman), a powerful documentary emerging from Switzerland that explores the lived experience of Black women navigating identity, visibility, and belonging within European society.

Recognized for its cultural impact, the film has received multiple honors, including the Best Documentary Award at the inaugural Alma Film Festival, where director Rachel M’Bon was also presented with the Dr. Cornel West Award for Global Truth & Cultural Conscience.

Beyond the film itself, Rachel M’Bon has continued to expand this work through her leadership with Now We Are Rising (NWAR) and the Afropea Cultural Center—extending the conversation into broader platforms of advocacy, cultural dialogue, and community engagement.

The film has resonated deeply with audiences across continents, inviting reflection on identity, visibility, and lived experience. It asks us to consider what it means to be a woman of color across different cultural landscapes—recognizing that being Black or Brown in Atlanta is not the same as in the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Fiji, or Honduras.

This exploration of context, nuance, and perspective will serve as the foundation for the evening’s conversation—one that seeks not just to observe differences, but to understand them more deeply.

A Curated Culinary and Wine Experience

The evening will also feature elevated artisanal cuisine, thoughtfully prepared to complement a curated wine experience led by Jonathan Ashley, co-owner of Palate Atlanta.

Palate Atlanta is known for crafting immersive, education-driven wine experiences that go beyond the traditional tasting—blending storytelling, pairing, and sensory engagement into a refined cultural offering.

Honoring Women of Vision and Impact

Following the screening, the evening will turn toward conversation—grounded in the lived experiences and leadership of two distinguished women whose work reflects both vision and momentum.

Diana Lynch-Grissett

As the visionary behind Soule Reserve, Diana Lynch-Grissett is currently leading the development of a luxury resort and golf course in the Dominican Republic, with groundbreaking anticipated later this year. Her work represents a bold step forward in global development—expanding presence, ownership, and opportunity within international spaces.

Catina Bryant

Catina Bryant, founder of DAI Moda, has built a luxury fashion brand that has successfully entered major retail spaces, including Kohl’s and Macy’s. Her journey reflects a compelling blend of creativity and strategic execution, positioning her as a dynamic force within fashion and business

A Private Global Conversation

What distinguishes this gathering is the caliber of thought, perspective, and intentionality shaping the room.

Bringing together a carefully curated circle of women from African, Caribbean, Asian, and Latino backgrounds, this experience is designed to facilitate an intimate yet globally resonant exchange centered on culture, leadership, creativity, and influence.

This is not simply a networking event, but a high-level convening of women whose work, insight, and lived experiences continue to shape conversations across industries and communities. Every invitation has been extended with purpose.

With attendance limited to just 25 guests, the salon has been intentionally designed to encourage thoughtful dialogue, meaningful relationship-building, and substantive cultural exchange within an atmosphere that is refined, intimate, and deeply collaborative — ensuring that every voice has presence and every perspective has space.

These collective insights will become part of an ongoing documentary film produced by Anthony R. Page through Blue Bistro Creative and directed by Sydney Bryant of Shades of Cinema.
