REMEMBERING MOMMA Nominated Best Independent Short Film for the 5th Annual HAPA Awards in Los Angeles

Atlanta, GA. REMEMBERING MOMMA has been nominated as Best Independent Short Film for the 5th Annual HAPA Awards. In the film written and directed by Anthony R. Page, Brenda “Ladybug” Brooks, a middle aged African American woman's vivacious and expressive life as a wife, mother, visual artist and art teacher slowly fades away, due to early on-set Alzheimer's Disease.

In addition to Best Short Film nomination, two members of the dynamic ensemble cast have been recognized for acting, Wes Lee and Amber Reign in the Best Acting Lead categories for short films. The winners will be announced during the ceremony on October 22nd - 24th Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
