The Afro-Mosaic Cinema Summit - Part 1

A special screening of the award-winning film Je Suis Noire (Becoming a Black Woman) by Swiss filmmakers Rachel M’Bon and Juliana Fanjul, followed by a community discussion exploring the nuances of culture, identity, and lived experience.

Entertainment in the Age of AI: Leadership, Innovation & Human Potential

The Alma Film Festival remixes the Ent-Tech experience with an evening of wine, music, fashion, and boutique theatre. Featured moments include a premiere performance by Channel Seven, a fashion presentation from Maison Zaccheus Miles, Blue Bistro Theatre’s award-winning boutique theater, and an Impact Atlanta International Magazine cover reveal honoring Runway Diva Shay, a soulful vocal performance by LyriQ Lashay, plus an innovative improv experience led by Brion Gibson with his series Act A Fool.

DAY 5 — SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4

Code, Community & Cultural Power

The week closes with conversations examining AI, storytelling, community, and cultural power, including a special AI filmmaking session facilitated by Darion D’Anjou and Gheri Thomas of AI Makers Generation

The afternoon continues with an international dialogue featuring select members of Alma’s global stakeholder community across 42 countries, bringing together filmmakers, cultural leaders, creatives, and industry voices around the development of a global cinematic agenda.
