Five days of culture, cinema, scholarship, emerging technology, performance, and global conversation presented by the Alma Film Festival.
An opening evening of wine, food, performance, and connection featuring Channel Seven, Behind the Pour, and Blue Bistro Theatre featuring Robin Antoinette.
A day of scholarship and cultural intelligence shaped by the research of Dr. Samuel T. Livingston, featuring a keynote from Dr. Ron Daise and an afternoon of think tanks, panels, roundtables and symposia.
Cinema, cultural intelligence, and public discourse take center stage, including Rachel M’Bon and Juliana Fanjul’s Je Suis Noire (Becoming a Black Woman) and a recorded conversation exploring the Renaissance of Reclamation.
Interactive presentations and experiences exploring AI, immersive technology, animation, music, filmmaking, financing and emerging distribution models, featuring innovators and creators from across the United States and Alma’s global ecosystem.
The week closes with conversations examining AI, storytelling, community and cultural power, followed by an afternoon of international dialogue connecting voices from across Alma’s global stakeholder community around the development of a global cinematic agenda.
