The Alma Film Festival Enhances the Ent-Tech Experience with Culture, Cocktails & Conversation

ATLANTA — Ent-Tech Atlanta steps beyond the expo floor on Saturday, October 3, with The Alma Experience: Culture, Cocktails & Conversation, the week’s signature social event. The evening will feature a premiere performance by Channel Seven, a fashion presentation from Maison Zaccheus Miles, a soulful vocal performance by LyriQ LaShay, and an innovative improv experience by Act A Fool.
Furthermore, Blue Bistro Theatre and Panta Rhei Theatre Company, in collaboration with students and professors from Georgia State University’s Theatre Department, will present a series of boutique theatre performances. The lineup includes an encore performance of My Father’s Dream, written by Anthony R. Page and S. Denise Couba, directed by Kaylee Jade Warfield, and starring Deja Holmes, Talib Henderson, and Sunday Sabbath. The evening also features Adira De La Croix 6.0, Anthony R. Page’s Afrofuturistic drama, directed by Olubajo Sonubi and starring Tamara Austin, Anastasia Wilson, and Darryl Dillard.

Channel Seven brings Hampton Roads’ creative pulse to Alma with a genre-blurring mix of sound, style, and performance.Special Musical Guest — Channel SevenFrom Hampton Roads, Virginia, Channel Seven arrives with a creative vocabulary that refuses neat categories. Founded by Christian “Coop” Johnson and Mari “Marz” Poydras, the multidisciplinary collective moves freely among live instrumentation, DJ-driven sound, fashion, and visual art. Channel Seven will appear throughout Ent-Tech and select Afro-Mosaic Cinema Summit gatherings, allowing its sound and visual language to surface across the week rather than remain confined to a single stage. Their presence reaches its crescendo Saturday night with a premiere performance as a part of the overall Alma Experience.
Fashion Feature — Maison Zaccheus Miles CollectionDesigner and entrepreneur Zaccheus Miles presents the Maison Zaccheus Miles Collection through an evening of custom craftsmanship, statement dressing, and a distinctly modern vision of luxury. The Maison began with a single bow tie—an answer to the limited range of men’s accessories Miles found on the market—and evolved into a fashion and lifestyle house specializing in custom neckwear, formalwear, and prestige apparel. Miles' designs have appeared on Lifetime’s The Rap Game, Season 3; the 2026 return of Bridezillas; and at the inaugural Miguel Wilson Collection Polo Classic in Atlanta. Miles has built an expansive career around fashion’s ability to create both identity and enterprise. He is the founder of Augusta Fashion Week and the Zaccheus Miles Trunk Show, with additional ventures spanning talent, media, production, luxury events, and experiential design. At the center of the Maison is an idea larger than any single garment: personal style, sustained with intention, becomes legacy. .png) Blue Bistro Theatre's — Award-Winning Boutique Theater FormatBlue Bistro Theatre will bring its award-winning boutique performance format to the evening with a presentation drawn from Anthony R. Page’s acclaimed short stage plays. Their coveted boutique theater replaces the distance of a traditional auditorium with immediacy. The actors, language, and emotional stakes arrive at close range, allowing the audience to experience the work with unusual intimacy. Within the overall experience, this presentation adds a dramatic counterpoint to the night’s music and fashion. .png) Soulful Vocalist - LyriQ LashayLyriQ LaShay, born Brittany McCreary, is an Omaha-raised vocalist and songwriter whose soulful R&B draws on lived experience, emotional honesty, and a commitment to social impact. An alumna of McNally Smith College of Music and a full-scholarship music student at Mississippi Valley State University, she brought her anti-gun-violence single Out of Control to the 106th NAACP National Convention and later released the R&B/Soul single City Lights. Her performances span festivals, community stages, and cultural events in the United States and Ghana, including the women-centered Garden Party Omaha and Accra's Chale Wote festival. Beyond music, she has led empowerment workshops, organized donation initiatives, and helped develop mission-driven ventures supporting underserved people. Onstage, LaShay pairs expressive vocals with warmth, conviction, and the rare ability to make a crowd feel like a conversation. .png) Act A Fool - An Innovative Improv ExperienceCreated by Brion Gibson, Act A Fool is an immersive, elimination-style improv game show where comedy, competition, audience participation, and technology converge. Performers face a series of unpredictable challenges while audience members help shape the action through suggestions, live participation, voting, and other interactive elements. The production extends beyond the stage through Fooly, its digital host, whose presence is woven into the experience through projection, sound, lighting, and multimedia technology. At its heart, Act A Fool is designed to create the electricity of a shared cultural experience. Drawing inspiration from the warmth of cookouts, the spirited competition of game nights, and the collective thrill of watching something memorable together, the show transforms spectators into active participants. Audiences laugh, choose favorites, influence outcomes, and become emotionally invested in the unfolding competition—ensuring that no two performances are ever quite the same.
